The turkeys ready.....
by morty ini just hope i am..... you see,i have been sick for days now, and so have been the kids with this damn chest cold...... they have been home from school and i have been laying on the couch for 3 days now....the house looks like a tornadoe went through it, and the butcher just called to confirm my 25lb turkey is ready to be picked up on tuesday for x-mas dinner... i am having 23 here to cook for, and i am not in the mood right now for it...so much work ahead of me right now.... anyways, where do you go for christmas dinner?
do you cook it, or does someone else do it in your family?.
i have aways done the christmas dinner at my house, but this year i am not feeling up to it at all...... do you think it would be rude for me to ask everyone in the family to bring something to the dinner?

Morty,
It's not rude to ask people to bring stuff at all. Our family does it all the time. If you feel funny about it just tell everyone what you told us. You've been very under the weather and just don't have your energy to do it all. If you let them know it would help out so much......they will gladly bring what ever. You may need to suggest something so you don't end up with 20 apple pies though. Now the good part will be when they are all sitting down you thank them all so much and say how much fun it has been and that you all should make a tradition of doing this. Off the hook from hear on out. It is alot of work for that many people, not to mention expensive. Everyone will be glad to help, I would and I consider myself to be average. Good luck and get well soon.

Yiz,
Don't see too much of you any more. How are you doing? Are you still working at the gas station? Are you still at the shelter? or have you gotten a place of your own yet? How's life been treating you lately?

Power over what. A few million people. No politics to use the power on. Could they be hiding the money so they can bribe their way out of things "During the Great Tribulation". I thought money wouldn't be worth anything. Are they building a secret Bomb shelter somewhere? Maybe thats how they "KNOW" they will survive the big A. 950 million a year? or is it worth 950 million? That does'nt seem like much really, but it would make a nice Christmas bonus for the

Troll dolls and Smurfs - oh my!
by Jim_TX inhow many here have in their possession troll dolls or smurf dolls?.
i am not sure about the rest of the world, but here in the states - these were considered 'demonistic' (oooohhhh!
), and were pretty much forbidden in the toyboxes of children.. since i have left, i have acquired a few for myself - one sits on the refrigerator - with a magnet - another on a shelf around here ... somewhere (he seems to walk around on his own *grin*).. sooooo... how about you?.
